PricePin is a daily price-guessing game at playpricepin.com. These terms cover the free game and the optional PricePin Plus subscription.

Who runs it

PricePin is operated by Haakon Tveter, Kristian Fjelds gate 40a, 2335 Stange, Norway. Contact hello@playpricepin.com. There is no separate company registration number.

The game

The daily five stays free. Scores, streaks and leaderboards are for fun. Prices in the game come from published sources and are not an offer to buy anything, and they are not financial, tax or investment advice.

One score per person per puzzle. Do not use bots, shared answer lists or other tricks to farm leaderboards or battles. We may remove scores or close accounts that do.

Accounts

An account needs an email address, or Google. You choose a nickname that other players can see in battles and, if you opt in, on the leaderboard. You are responsible for keeping access to your account.

You can delete your account by emailing hello@playpricepin.com.

Plus

Plus is optional. It removes the daily cap on battles and Battle Royale. The daily puzzle stays free either way. The price is the one shown on the Plus page before you pay, in the currency you pick, billed monthly or yearly.

The first time you subscribe, you get a 7-day trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. After that, the plan you picked renews until you cancel. Stripe handles the card payment. We do not store your full card number.

Cancel from the Plus page, under Manage subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

If you live in the EEA, you can withdraw from a new Plus subscription within 14 days. Plus starts as soon as you subscribe, including during the trial, because you ask us to begin the digital service immediately. Cancel during the trial and you are not charged. If a paid period has already started and you have used Plus, that period is not refunded. You still keep the right to cancel future renewals.

The service

We try to keep PricePin available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of mistakes. We may change the puzzles, the rules of play, or these terms. If a change to Plus costs you more, or takes away something you pay for, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost scores, lost streaks, or decisions you make based on a price in the game. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer.

Law

Norwegian law applies. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Questions go to hello@playpricepin.com.
